Description
This photograph was taken in Yoho National Park, in British Columbia, Canada. It shows what is known as the "Natural Bridge," a rock formation created through erosion by the Kicking Horse River. The river got its name in 1858, when James Hector, a member of the Palliser Expedition, was kicked by his horse and knocked unconscious. Mr. Hector survived and named the river after the incident.
